About me
A Civil Engineering graduate from Indore University, he began his professional career with the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Government of Madhya Pradesh, and went on to serve as Engineer-in-Chief, PHED, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
He was subsequently selected as Senior Consultant and Team Leader at the National Resource Centre, Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation, Government of India, New Delhi, where he contributed his expertise to the planning and implementation of water and sanitation initiatives.
He has also served as Advisor to the Urban Development Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, providing strategic guidance for the state's urban water supply programmes.
With extensive experience in drinking water and sanitation across both rural and urban sectors, he has been associated with the planning, development, and implementation of numerous projects in the field.
Currently, he serves as an Independent Director at Pithampur Jal Prabandhan, under Audyogik Kendra Vikas Nigam, Government of Madhya Pradesh, and at Madhya Pradesh Jal Nigam Ltd., contributing his expertise to drinking water supply projects across the state.

❖ Practicing Photography since college days. Participating in National and International Photography Exhibitions since 1979.
❖ Awarded Associate ship (ARPS) of the Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain, world’s Premier body in the field of artistic Photography, in the year 1984 on a portfolio of Black and White photographs on Rural India.
❖ Awarded Artiste ship (AFIAP) of the Federation International de la Art PhotographicArt (FIAP), another European Apex body in the field of Photographic Art in 1985 on a portfolio of Pictorial Photographs and on the basis of achievements in International Photographic Exhibitions.
❖ Awarded next higher distinction of EFIAP(Excellence) by the Federation International de la Art Photographic in 2009 on a panel of Color Prints.
❖ Awarded the distinctions of GFIP (genius in 2024), EFIP/gold (excellence)& EFIP/gold-nature by the Federation of Indian Photography, the Apex body of Photography in India.
❖ Awarded the next higher photographic excellence distinction levels of EFIAP/bronze, EFIAP/silver, EFIAP/gold and EFIAP/platinum during the years of 2017 TO 2021.
❖ Awarded higher distinctions of Diamond level of EFIAP/diamond1 (2022), EFIAP/diamond2 (2023) & EFIAP/diamond3 (2024) by the Federation International de la Art PhotographicArt (FIAP), based on the performance and awards in International Photography Exhibitions worldwide.
❖ Conferred with Fellow ICSby the Image Colleauge Society International, USA in 2017.
❖ Conferred with the “Grand Progress Award”, GPA.PESGSPC, USA in 2017.
❖ Conferred Fellowship of the Asia Photographers Union, FAPU, in 2022.
❖ Awarded many other honorary Photography distinctions and honours by many Photographic organizations
❖ Worked as Member, working committee of the Federation of Indian Photography during the periods of 1997 to 1999, from 2021 to 2022 and again from 2023 to 2024.
❖ Founder Chairman of PhotoloversPhotographic Society. Ex executive committee member of the Federation of Indian Photography.
❖ More than 5000photographs on wide variety of subjects accepted and exhibited in more than 1000 Photographic Exhibitions across the world. Many photographs published in a number of catalogues, magazines and news papers.
❖ Have won more than One thousand International Salon awardsincluding Gold Medals and Gold Trophy, Silver Medals, Bronze Medals and many other medals and trophies in International Photographic events.
❖ Have worked as member of Jury in more than One hundred National and International Photographic Competitions and Exhibitions.
❖ Organized many All India and International Photographic Exhibitions, recognized by the Apex World Bodies, The Photographic Society of America and the FIAP.
❖ Have so far organized 20 International Photography Exhibitions in the form of Circuits (Photolovers Circuits & Grand International Circuits). Each Circuit is organized with 3 independent Exhibitions in each Circuit with a separate jury for each exhibition. The Photographic Society of America (PSA), The Federation of Indian Photography and the Federation International de la Art Photographic(FIAP) grant recognition to these events and also gives their Gold Medals etc to be awarded to the winners.
❖ Presently our 16thPhotolovers International Circuit, with FIP, FIAP & PSA approvals is running, closing on 1st October, 2026.
❖ Photolovers Circuits have a rare honourof having received 5 Star rating which is awarded by FIAP to world exhibitions to 6 of its printed catalogues, in continuation, which NO other Salon/Circuit/Exhibition could achieve in India so far. These are published as Coffee Table Books by Photolovers and are rated as best in the country.
❖ Have organized One man Photography Exhibition named ‘SADHU’in which 100 excellent photographs on the theme ‘Sadhu’ were displayed, the exhibition was inaugurated by the Chief Minister of M.P.
❖ Photographs taken have widely been published by many Photographic Catalogues, magazines, periodicals and papers.
❖ Widely travelled to explore Photography within in the country and abroad to U.K., France, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Macau, Maldives, Kenya, Norway, Sweden, Indonesia, Vietnam and Japan etc.
❖ Guide aspirant Photo Artists in their work on personal basis and through paper columns and workshops etc.
